Persian Gulf Star Oil Company was registered in 1385 with the aim of designing, managing, providing financial resources, building, operating, repairing and maintaining a gas condensate refinery. This refinery is the most modern refinery in the Middle East, with an area of ​​about 730 hectares, located 25 kilometers west of Bandar Abbas.

The Persian Gulf star feed is supplied by a 388 km long pipeline with a diameter of 36 inches and a capacity of receiving 840 thousand barrels per day. Persian Gulf Star Super Refinery was established in order to maintain and continue the operation of gas extraction from the South Pars joint field and reduce environmental pollutants and ensure the country’s self-sufficiency in supplying strategic energy products such as gasoline and oil gas and by-products such as liquid gas, hydrogen, sulfur, fuel It produces jets and all kinds of solvents.

After opening the third phase of Persian Gulf Star Refinery and stabilizing the production of 41 million liters of gasoline per day, the process of increasing the capacity began and the gasoline production capacity of this refinery increased to 47 million liters per day with the Euro 5 standard, which is the share of this refinery in the country’s gasoline supply. brings it to about 50%. With the launch of the fourth phase, Star of the Persian Gulf, as the largest gas condensate refinery in the world, has now gained a strategic position in the energy balance of the country and the region and has been able to transform Iran from an importer of gasoline to an exporter of this strategic product.
